Electrical Apprentice / Journeyman Electrician
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX & Field-Based

We are looking for motivated Electrical Apprentices and Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team! We specialize in the installation of residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Responsibilities
- Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, service equipment, EV chargers, and solar PV/ESS systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and construction plans.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve installation issues.
- Stock company vehicles and prepare materials for daily projects.
- Assist with material take-offs, inventory management, and equipment ordering.
- Conduct pre-construction site visits to verify project designs and materials.
- Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and team members.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
- Meet with inspectors during in-progress and final inspections.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Journeyman Electricians will also:
- Lead crews and mentor apprentices.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Review project plans and provide technical guidance.
- Work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Apprentice, Wireman, or Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Residential electrical experience required (Journeyman candidates should have 8+ years preferred).
- Solar, EV charging, or energy storage experience is a plus.
- Commercial and/or high-voltage electrical experience is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of load calculations, wattage, KW, and KVA sizing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the position and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
