Schedule: [Full-time, 3 days a week, 7:00 AM – 5 PM]

About the Opportunity

Specialized Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Landscapers to keep apartment communities clean, healthy, and inviting for residents. This is a temp-to-hire role, so strong performers have a direct path to permanent employment.

Responsibilities

Mow, edge, and weed-eat all grass areas throughout the apartment community
Spread and maintain mulch in flower beds, around trees, and along walkways
Lay new sod and repair damaged or bare turf areas
Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas as needed
Trim hedges and shrubs and maintain clean bed lines
Remove weeds, debris, leaves, and clippings from grounds, sidewalks, and parking areas
Report irrigation problems, damaged plants, or safety hazards to the property team
Work around residents, vehicles, and common areas safely and professionally
Operate and perform basic upkeep on landscaping equipment

Requirements

Multi-family / apartment community landscaping experience is required
Hands-on experience with mulching, sod installation, and planting shrubs and trees
Able to safely operate commercial mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers
Able to work outdoors in Louisiana heat, humidity, and changing weather
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Able to follow directions and work independently or as part of a crew

Preferred

Commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
Basic irrigation knowledge
Valid driver’s license
