We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a machine shop environment, supporting fabrication and production of metal components and assemblies. This role requires precision welding, strong blueprint interpretation, and collaboration with machinists and shop leads to meet quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (as applicable)
Weld fabricated components, frames, fixtures, and custom parts per drawings and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
Set up and adjust welding machines, fixtures, and jigs
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and cosmetic quality; make adjustments as needed
Use grinders, torches, saws, and other shop tools to prep and finish materials
Collaborate with machinists, fabricators, and quality personnel to ensure part conformity
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all shop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards
Qualifications
1–3+ years of welding experience in a machine shop or fabrication environment
Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding (certifications a plus)
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Experience welding to tight tolerances and cosmetic standards
Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, squares)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
Experience working alongside CNC machinists or fabrication teams
Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
Experience with custom, low-volume, or prototype fabrication
Ability to perform basic fitting and fabrication tasks
Physical Requirements

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support operations within a precision machine shop environment. This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, hands-on setting with the potential for long-term employment.
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the machine shop facility and CNC equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and addressing mechanical and electrical repairs as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and general shop upkeep. Experience working around CNC machines and industrial equipment is highly preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of the machine shop and CNC equipment to identify and address maintenance issues
Perform preventative maintenance on all CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, inspection of components, and reporting potential issues to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and mechanical components as needed
Support maintenance and upkeep of shop equipment, tooling, and machinery
Handle basic carpentry work, such as repairs to doors, fixtures, and shop structures as needed

Respond to maintenance requests from shop personnel in a timely and efficient manner
